Office visits are by appointment, and are scheduled during normal business hours which are Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We do offer 7 a.m. appointments on the last day of every month, and Fridays during the summer. Please try to be on time for your appointments, and keep regularly scheduled visits. If you cannot keep an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can reschedule in a timely fashion. We do request 24 hours notification for cancelations. Remember, being seen at regular intervals will help treatment progress in as timely a manner as possible.
Appointments are usually scheduled 6-8 weeks apart. Unfortunately not all appointments can be scheduled after school/work hours. Longer appointments, which are occasional, are scheduled during work or school hours and shorter appointments are scheduled either before or after school. In this way, an entire afternoon is not committed to one or two patients, but rather, is scheduled to accommodate as many families as possible for after school or work appointments. We will do everything in our power to schedule appointments which are as convenient as possible.
We will always make time for emergency appointments, especially if a patient is in discomfort. If you do have an emergency during normal business hours, please call so that we can arrange a mutually agreeable time for you to be seen. If you have an emergency during non business hours, please call the office and follow the instructions on the automated system. Dr. Jaffe shares emergency call with several other local orthodontists, and someone will always be available to take care of problems which cannot wait until normal business hours.
