Dr. Jordan Jaffe is a 1995 graduate of Bowdoin College, where he had a double major in Biology and History. He went on to University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine from which he graduated with a Doctorate of Medicinal Dentistry degree in 1999. In 2002, Dr. Jaffe completed his post-graduate training in orthodontics at the University of Maryland, earning a masters degree in oral biology, and being awarded the Kress Award for outstanding research by the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Jaffe currently serves as the President of the Rhode Island Association of Orthodontists. He is on the Board of Trustees of the Rhode Island Dental Association, and also serves on several other committees. He belongs to several dental study clubs including the prestigious Schulman Study Club, as well as the Providence Plantations Dental Study Club.
Dr Jaffe lives in Barrington with his wife Debbi, and two sons, Jacob and Alan. He is committed to being a part of the community in every sense, and is proud to be a major supporter of local educationally based charities such as the Barrington Education Foundation (BEF), and the Kickemuit Education Foundation(KEF). He and his staff take part yearly in the Nayatt School Science Fair, the Kickemuit Middle School Career Day, the BEF Rubber Ducky Race, the KEF 5K, and other local events. Dr Jaffe loves being spotted around town, and the whisper of, “Hey Mom, isn’t that Dr. Jaffe?” always brings a smile to his face!
